Adriene Cruz has exhibited nationally and internationally as far as Bahia, Brazil. Shown on the right, Adriene's quilt "Imani/Faith" was included in "Spirits of the Cloth: Contemporary Quilts by African American Artists." It exhibited at the American Crafts Museum and Smithsonian American Art Museum. It is now in the Cultural Heritage Collection at Harborview Hospital in Seattle. Her quilt "Wisdom Wish" is included in the Schomburg Arts and Artifacts Collection of the New York City Public Library. She has shown at Santa Fe's Thirteen Moons Gallery. PUBLIC ART PROJECTSAdriene's adopted city, Portland, OR, has a wealth of public art projects that beautify and uplift. Adriene has participated in several, which you can see on another page of this site. They include the Killingsworth station of Tri-Met's MAX, a mural at the Northeast Health Center, a billboard for a nonprofit organization, and banners lining three miles of Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. PUBLICATIONS FEATURING ADRIENE'S WORK

Individual Artist Fellowship, Oregon Arts Commission, 1998. Visual Arts Fellowship, Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center, Portland, OR, 1998. In March, 1999, Adriene became the eighth recipient of the Bonnie Bronson Fellowship Award to a female artist of distinction living in Portland, OR.
